35 MM Portraits — David Ross Lawn

After viewing the John Singer Sargent exhibition at the MFA, I’ve felt creatively pulled towards incorporating some of Sargent’s compositional choices into my own image-making process. As David and I spoke about collaborating on some images at NYFW FW24, I knew that photographing this look on 35mm would be the perfect opportunity to be in conversation with Sargent. Together, we created a triptych to document  this look David wore to the Dauphinette runway presentation.
